Bangalore - strolling down MG Road

Some images taken during a recent work trip to Bangalore. Probably my favourite part of India so far - milder (still hot), smaller (still massive), calmer (still bonkers) and friendlier than Delhi and Mumbai. 

I was in Assam the week before and was wearing a scarf which some students had given to me, when I went for a stroll down MG Road. I'd forgotten I was wearing it when a teenage boy stopped me and told me, "You've been to Assam!" I'll be honest, I was a pretty freaked out - did I have a stalker?! - until he explained he was from Guwahati and recognised this as his local cloth - he was so curious what this blonde stranger was doing with it - but very sweet natured and wished me well...
